Stephanie Klimczak and Cooper Johnston have been ice dancing together since the summer of 2003. After an arranged tryout in Texas, Stephanie relocated from Kansas City, Missouri to partner with Cooper. Stephanie and Cooper train at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Plano, Texas under coaches Olivia and Warren Maxwell. Warren is also their choreographer. They are each home club members of the Stars FSC of Texas. They train before school, Monday through Friday for about four hours a day.

Their first season together, Stephanie and Cooper placed 10th in Juvenile Dance at the 2004 USFS Junior Championships in Arizona. This season, they were the gold medallists in the 2005 Southwestern Regional Juvenile Dance event in Wichita, Kansas and then took home the Juvenile Dance bronze medal at the 2005 USFS Junior Championships in Jamestown, New York. In the upcoming 2005-2006 season, they will be competing at the intermediate level.
